Justin Zimmerman

Born and raised in a small town in Kansas, the land of OZ, I learned to love nature and family. I spent most of my time on the family farms on both sides of my family. I enjoyed spending time outside helping with chores as well as time inside with grandma baking cookies and cinnamon rolls. As I got older, I started working in law enforcement and healthcare. I’ve seen so many emotions and have had so many experiences. I moved to Texas in 2008, to advance my healthcare career and currently reside in Wylie, TX. With no formal art training, other than art classes in my early years of schooling, I feel personal and work experience allowed me to create the art that I do today. I love to get out of the house and enjoy LIFE! I appreciate all types of art and medium but tend to express my creative side more so with texture. My art tends to be more on the “different” side. I use many forms of “things” to create my art. For example, I tend to use items such as fabrics, plaster, clay, wire and many more unique items. I love texture and applying a three-dimensional affect to make things “pop” and stand out. It’s always fun finding new ways to express oneself and experimenting with new forms of art as well as different ways to create. Wouldn’t it be great to do what your heart loves full-time? That is my goal. The opportunity to work on art full-time and to help others put their thoughts and dreams on canvas would be a true blessing. Let your love pour out on life’s canvas and CREATE your own masterpieces. Experiment. Try new things. Enjoy!
